This unique tableware and jewelry is handcrafted in White River, South Africa, where 3.3 million people live and 60% of them live below the poverty line. There are many unemployed women in this region and we are happy to say that 70% of them and a large number of disabled people, both male and female, are employed by Copper Craft Africa.
The crafters are treated with respect and earn a fair trade wage. These talented craftspeople are struggling to overcome the obstacles of poverty, disease and lack of education.
