NAO Jewelry and Giftware is pleased to present you with a piece of beautifully crafted tableware and/or jewelry made predominately by women crafters from the village of White River, South Africa. The designs are inspired by patterns used by the Ndlebele women in their tribal dress. The swirls, coils and contours are replicated on these unique hand crafted pieces. The utensils are made of a high grade stainless steel. The handles, like the jewelry, are created from copper and brass. They are annealed with care to bring out the beautiful colors from within the metal and then sealed to help prevent tarnishing. If needed, one may use a soft jewelry cloth to bring shine to the piece. By purchasing a jewelry or tableware item you are directly helping these talented crafts people who are struggling to overcome the obstacles of poverty, disease and lack of education.
